Scan4U respects the intellectual property rights of others. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and expect our users to do the same.

How Scan4U Works (Important)

Scan4U is a browser-based utility tool. Unlike file hosting sites, we do not host, store, archive, or index user-uploaded content on our servers.

All image processing is performed Client-Side (locally on the user's device) using WebAssembly. Once the user closes the tab, the data is erased. Therefore, it is technically impossible for Scan4U to "host" infringing content permanently.

Reporting Copyright Infringement

Despite our technical architecture, if you believe that any material accessible directly on scan4u.in infringes upon your copyright (e.g., static assets, blog images, or logo assets), you may submit a notification pursuant to the DMCA.

To be effective, your notification must include the following:

  • Identification of Work: A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  • Exact Location: The specific URL(s) on our website where the infringing material is located.
  • Contact Information: Your name, address, phone number, and email address.
  • Good Faith Belief: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized.
  • Signature: A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.
